Research On Network Topology Discovery Techonology Based On Multi-Protocol In Network Security Situation Awareness

With the development of computer network technology and popularization, people notonly enjoy the convenience and efficiency of the network, but also bear the the security risksproblem. Up to now, the problem of network security has covered all areas of computernetwork, and it has become the key problem of the network design and the networkconstruction.With the expansion of network scale and complexity of network attack, network securityproducts appear many problems, such as they are unable to fully meet the needs of users, theirfunctions are not to able to be fully utilized, the maintenance of network security productsconsuming a lot of manpower and financial and so on. Because of the traditional networksecurity products have been unable to accurate monitor the whole network security status,network situation awareness system is proposed. However, the network situation awarenesssystem lacks an effective and intuitive way to report the current network state information tothe network management. Network topology discovery can not only react the controllednetwork connection, but also can be used for network situation awareness to provide real-time,accurate monitoring platform. Therefore, the network topology is the essential technology andan important part of the network situation awareness system.Firstly, this paper introduces the characteristics of network security situation awareness,and analyze the purpose and meaning of the network topology discovery which is presentedin this paper. And then, this paper analyze the significance of the network topology to thenetwork security situation awareness and introduces the existing network topology methods,and develop research on the network topology methods with the background of the subject.To improve the existing network topology method, this paper presents a distributedhierarchical network topology method to realize the network layer and data link layer of thehierarchical topology, and use the multi-source network topology discovery in distributedstructure.Based on depth study of the method, this paper design and implementation amulti-level topology of distributed system, Describe the overall system design andarchitecture, topology information storage structure, the system functionality of each moduleand the relationship between modules.Then,the performance of the network topology methodsproposed by this paper was proved by experiments. Finally, this paper review the work papersand made the next step of research.
