This dissertation deals with researches on Double CPU Strapdown Inertial Navigation System. A new method based on a high-performance DSP(TMS320C6713) and the MCU(SPCE061A).In this system,double CPU each exert their's strong suit. The primary task of the DSP is deal with the data ,accomplish data processing,the MCU take charge data-collection and interface control. This design effectively reparation the disadvantage that the DSP isn't good at interface control ,also can let get the data and data processing carry through at the same time. The blue print improve the performance,at the samen time saving cost,reduce cubage,depress power,completeness accord with the new standard of the SINS.Combining the characteristic of the technical development of navigation and the need of thenavigation computer system, the author particularly expatiates on the main idea of designing thehardware system of navigation computer. After analysis and model selection, the author designs the overall scheme and hardware circuit. The navigation computer is with a dual CPU structure(DSP and MCU). DSP is used to deal with the data while MCU is to control the I/O operation. The DSP and the MCU are designed on the same circuit diagram to realize the algorithm ofintegrated navigation system. In this way the two processors can take full advantage of their own characteristic. Furthermore, it is important to design the interface and data exchange scheme between the DSP and the MCU in a dual CPU system. After analysis and discussion, the author puts forward a simple, cheap and wieldy communication scheme. DSP get across HPI interface to communicate with the MCU,get the data which the MCU collected and send out the control signal to the MCU. The function of the CPLD is to carry through the logic coding between the DSP and other equipment.The research approves that designing the navigation computer system based on DSP can effectively get the computer precision and speed of SINS higher, minish the cubage, power and cost. It can make the SINS having great value of application.
