Packaging technology is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food and other fields. Packagingof pharmaceutical is an important procedure of medicine modern assembly line operation,which often appears drug leakage outfit, crushing, and pollutants packing defects. Along withthe automation technology and machine vision technology is widely used in modern industrialproduction,defects detection system is on based packaging of pharmaceutical is widely usedin the packaging of pharmaceutical. But the system is high cost of R&D and inconvenient tocarry and environment the use and the high cost of maintenanceļ¼Œso that the wide range ofapplications of the type systems are limited.So,This study of embedded machine visioninspection system developped low-cost, high performance and flexibility is becoming aresearch hotspot. The system, considering aluminum blister packaging pharmaceuticalproduction lines, takes advantage of embedded technology, machine vision technology,automation technology and the detection and identification technology to research visualinspection system of drugs of blister packaging defect. The system checks the packagingdefect drug tested, and excluded or exclude packaging to improve the qualified rate ofproduct packaging.The paper researches the key technology of visual inspection of pharmaceutical of blisterpackaging using the open source machine vision library OpenCV under embedded systemenvironment; Studies analysis method of the OpenCV vision library used in preprocessing,image segmentation and edge detection of the acquisition of drug packaging image;Comparative analysis of the defect detection method of the packaging; Selection problem ofthe soft hardware environment of the whole system is discussed to solve design of systemstructure; Finally, using the system designed and the method researched, results of figureFigure of detection results of pharmaceutical packaging image is given; The experimentalresults show that this system can complete the bubble packing defects classification detection,and achieved the desired effect.In this paper, the related theories are introduced, and selection of software and hardware ofsystem, system performance and other aspects of the problem is respectively discussed. ablister medicine image processing and classification and detection algorithm flow chart of thesystem is finally given in the paper.
