Laser image communication system is based on wireless optical communication technique is a new research topic. It uses a laser beam as a carrier, the atmosphere as the channel, it’s a communication mode of the audio and image data is loaded into the laser transmit. Similar to another is relatively mature laser communication--laser optical fiber communication, so it can be used in many laser in optical fiber communication has mature technology. Due to the communication channel change, wireless laser communication not only has the advantages of optical fiber communication, also have the advantages of microwave communication, at the same time to make up for the laser optical fiber communication in short distance communication bandwidth bottleneck problem.Based on laser image communication system working principle of cognition and understanding. further study of laser image communication system overall structure and design. In the transmitter portion, the Motorola MC1596as modulation chip. Laser is a semiconductor lasers model of the ADL-65052TL; in a receiver portion, we use photoelectric diode GD101as photoelectric detector, MC1596as a demodulator chip, the final completed a set of laser image communication system prototype.
