Chaotic signal essentially has very strong characteristic of concealment, and thus is suitable for application in secure communication field. So, nowadays, the fighting situation of keeping and Stealing Secrets is under the spotlight. It is more valuable to incorporate hyperchaos theory with encryption technology, in order.to construct advanced security communication system.This paper studied on chaos character, chaos synchronization control and chaos secure communication. Discussed three typical chaos systems:Logistic mapping, unified Lorenz chaos system and Fourstage hyperchaos system. It is proved that chaotic motion has the characteristics of the high sensitive initial value and unpredictability by mathematical calculation and simulation. This paper based on the basic theory of chaos, did a research on the chaos system control to achieve the leading edge of fourstage hyperchaos system, not only can produce rich chaotic phenomenon, but also has strong unpredictability. Incorporate hyperchaos theory with encryption technology to construct synchronization system. This method provided ideas to solve synchronization problems of hyperchaos system. Implemented fast encryption and decryption method of text and image based on the hyperchaotic synchronization system. Compared with traditional chaotic encryption technology, the advantages of the proposed method in this paper are larger key space, strong safety performance, and the method is expected to resist a variety of popular attack means.
