| This paper bases on the stimulated Raman scattering theory and the acousto-optic tunable filter(AOTF) to develop a tunable fiber Raman laser system, which includes the pump, the couple, the optic gain and feedbacketc.. The diagram of laser is designed and the output characteristics are modified. The fiber Raman laser is founded. The yellow and green tunable Raman laser are obtained in this system。The output features of the laser beam are studied which include the central wavelength, the full width at half maximum, the divergence angle, the deflection angle, the laser spot and the width of pulse.This new laser can be used in the area of the latest short-wave communications which makes up the disadvantages of microwave satellite communications and fiber optic communications. The application shortage problems of yellow laser can be decreased too. |
