Since Cloud Computing is put forward as a newly commercial evaluation model, with the continuous development of science and technology and advance by academia and industry, Cloud Computing is being from theory into practice, meanwhile, government invests tremendous human and other resources to promote the foundation of Cloud Computing in China. Resource schedule based on cloud environment is one of the most important research fields, the core of Cloud Computing is used mature virtualization to combine each server, storage, etc. to a virtual resource pool, with which to realize agile and unified allocation, thus, the schedule efficiency of virtual resources will directly influence the whole performance of cloud environment. Finding optimization resource schedule algorithm has great significance to Cloud Computing research and it is one of the challenges we are facing, up to now.For the reasons given above, analyzing on the foundation of Cloud Computing background, significance and some critical technologies about Cloud Computing, referring the research of resource schedule algorithm under the cloud environment, the paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Firstly, deep analyzing the resource schedule under grid computing, making detail description from three aspects which are the process of resource management, the process of resource schedule and existed resource schedule algorithms. Then, doing research on resource schedule under cloud environment which mainly introduce from cloud provisioning strategy, existed cloud resource schedule policies and the performance index of resource schedule. The last, making some analysis on cloud load balance technology.(2)Considering Genetic Algorithm (GA) has great result on solving NP problems, through comparing the advantage and disadvantage of GA, the paper applies it into the resource schedule under cloud environment, putting forward an improve GA on cloud resource schedule; besides, the paper describes the principal of Cellular Automata (CA) using dynamic behavior and parallelism of CA to integrate GA and CA to promote an improve GA based on CA (shorted for CGA).(3)To test the algorithm’s effectiveness, the paper uses cloud simulator——CloudSim to simulate user tasks and virtual resources under cloud environment, make simulation to the two promoted algorithms and Round Robin (RR) algorithm its own. Through experiment comparison, making analysis from many aspects to the three algorithms which confirms CGA is more optimized than the other two, which needs shorter executive time and less cost.
