The Design And Practice Of CDMA Multi-Carrier Technology Of Yichun Telecom

With the2008October restructuring of the telecommunications executive, China Telecom bought the CDMA network from China Unicom and became the third mobile network Telecom operator in Chinese mainland. In order to obtain more market share, the mobile communication operators positive response, improved front-end customer service quality at the same time, further improve the network condition,to improve the market competitiveness of enterprises. To enable enterprises to quickly adapt to the new mobile operator’s identity and meet the overall trend toward the development of wireless direction of the communications market,China Telecom must quickly transform and improve the CDMA network received from China Unicom that simply goal to cover at that time,so as to adapt to the competitive market demand.First, this paper briefly introduces the wireless characteristics and advantages of CDMA2000-1X, and the Yichun telecommunication CDMA wireless network are described briefly. The emphasis of this paper is about how to Analyze and choose what kind of networking solutions according to different network structure, how to use the multi-carrier hard handoff technology during this work, and the detailed analysis included technical characteristics, various types of access, handoff signaling processes, multi-carrier standby and access assignment strategies of CDMA1X network. Finally, it analyzes the technology application and its effect of the multi-carrier technology in the process of network optimization, with implementation of CDMA1X dual carrier networking project in the city of Yuanzhou District and strategy adjustment of hard handoff between devices of different manufacturers at the Pingxiang border.Due to specific implementations of wireless technology devices from different manufacturers are not completely the same, papers related to networking and optimization program are based on the characteristics of the the ZTE vendor equipment that Yichun telecom used, and reference some Huawei equipment manufacturers optimization ideas, in order to meet Yichun’s telecommunications business area network demand as the goal to design. The author of this paper led the contents of project design, project implementation, the configuration data, and to participate in the completion of project later verification.Through this thesis research, has deepened my understanding of CDMA wireless network technology and improved my technical ability in practical work.The wireless network is one of the main branches of the access network, directly facing the user. If the wireless network is not running properly or is not ideal, it will greatly affect the user’s perception, and thus affect the image of the operators in the market, resulting in adverse position is in in market competition. Market to expand, the network is the foundation.
