The research work in this thesis originated from a research program undertaken by the State Radio Monitoring Cente—Research on the key standards and application promotion for independent controllable broadband wireless network security access, which is a part of the2009Information Safety project granted by the National Development and Reform Commission. The goal of our work is to provide a client integrated authentication platform which could connect all kinds of WLANs to the internet, allowing users to use WLAN without locational limitation. By using the AIPN system all users could reach the WLAN from any remote location with safety guaranteed. The main point of this research is to analyse the users’requirement for safety access and design the Adaptive-IP Network (AIPN) system, with details as following. First, we overview some representative confident network connecting technologies all over the world and analyze their current condition and disadvantages. And then, we propose a new Trusted Network Connecting Architecture—TCA, as well introduce the design and applications of the AIPN system-the first product over the world that can be used to authenticate remote/mobile users’identities based on TePA on-line trusted third party authentication mechanisms. Finally, by building a typical wireless web-group environment, we tested the performance of the system, and showed that the system can successfully achieve the bidirectional-conmunication between the mobile users and the local web.
