The Design And Practice Of The Digital Campus Construction Scheme Based On Soa

With the rapid development of the informationization, many universities as the educational institutions development very fast. In order to improve efficiency, increase resource utilization and serve the teaching better, there have emerged a variety of information systems in various departments of colleges. These information systems existed independently, which were lacked of unified information standards and platforms with each other.In order to make better use of the present resources and standardize the unified management, the construction of the digital campus has becoming the hot spot of colleges. But the construction of the digital campus network is a complicated project which involves many aspects and are required a large number of investments. It is related to the transformation of the college’s managerial mode and the improvement of the work efficiency, and in turn it will affects the management, teaching, official work and other aspects of school to a great extent.It seems very significant whether the construction plan is comprehensive, the operation is efficient and the construction is stable as well as the expansibility of software and the compatibility of hardware. All these elements are needed to design according to the concrete conditions and current situations.This article takes the Digital Campus Construction Project of Jishou University as an example and has a systematic study on its scheme.Starting with the construction target, design principles and the guiding ideology, the article has adopted the Service Oriented Architecture and has systematically expounded the general design scheme about the information platform of the project.In addition, the article has completed the software of unified information portal and identity authentication platform, detailed the means of data exchanging and has finished the basic idea of unified information standards; meanwhile, it has given the representative network topology chart. After designed the major business system of the digital campus and expounded the functions of it, the article has finished the software structural models of each business systems, laying great emphasis on the practical content and some special items of the project; it gives the detailed flow chart and the standard process of works acceptance.Finally, it has pointed out the deficiency during the planning and constructing process and has given advice to the next system optimization.As a typical example, the article has both directive and reference meanings to the design and construction process of the digital campus in China.
