In recent years, with the PON (Passive Optical Network) technology matures, PON equipment costs are getting lower and lower, the major domestic carriers for PON high hopes, a lot of resourcesfor the development of optical access network. Because EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) technology is characterized by:low cost, access to a wide range of support for multi-service access, so as to solve the Internet "last mile" problem of the main. In our constructionof optical access networks, EPON accounted for halfThis paper describes the development status of EPON technology, working principle and key technologies, then the DBA (Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation) algorithm for the classical analysis, need to be addressed. In the fourth chapter, I propose a new algorithm for different priority services were fair and efficient bandwidth allocation. Finally, the simulation shows that:the new algorithm than the classical algorithm has better performance.
