At present the security situation of the mining industry is not optimistic and production safety accidents often happen. When accident occurs, emergency rescue is still not efficient due to the lack of accurate and reliable location information. Therefore, government and the mining industry have attached great importance to the establishment of a suitable underground personnel positioning system.Through deep analysis of the production safety and underground environment of Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine, we designed and developed a underground personnel positioning system FKPPS (Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine Personnel Positioning System, FKPPS). In FKPPS, RFID technology is used to collect information of the long-distance moving target, and send the dynamic position information to the computer management system by CAN bus. This system enables managers to keep track of the real-time distribution of the underground workers.The requirements of the system are analyzed deeply. On this basis, the overall design of the system is described, including the system function structure, technical architecture and information flow model. To solve the problem of collecting and processing data, a data acquisition middleware named RFDAM is introduced in order to clean the massive and real-time data collected from readers, and a more flexible solution is proposed to composite the logic events through these data. This paper performs an in-depth analysis of RFID data cleaning problem. Logical mapping, remodeling and data supplementing algorithms are put forward to improve the accuracy and concise of the data.The development and testing of FKPPS has been completed, and the test result shows that this system has achieved the intended goal. Deploying and testing the system at Fankou Lead-Zinc Mine is our future work.
