With the rapid development of the science technology and the economicsocial.There have been many ordering system.But,currently, when we manage the menuor dish,we often encounter such problems: there is no explain of the ingredients;therecipes too old and it is difficult to update the recipes; and when the guests had a lot ofdishes but is told the no raw materials or the long cooking time;the menu list somenobody processing food and so on.Questions like these often make guests feelangry,convenient,and uncomfortable,and it is easy to reduce the service level of therestaurant,and then impact of the economic benefits of the restaurant.if wo useinformation technology to combinate the manageent methods of restaurant and theordering processing,these problems will be solved well.In this case,the idea of thissystem is produced.This article fist discusses the research background of the project as well as themenu development at home and abroad, and the discuss the problems that the menufaced in the current market.then furter extended the advantages that the iPad mobileordering system take to the industry.and the clearly introduce the feasibility about themobile meal system based on IOS.then snalysis the business processes of the modernrestaurant industry base on this analysis.following,discuss the main functionalrequirements of the system.and then design this system from the following threeaspects:the hardware,software modules and databse.finally,finish a mobile orderingsystem which base on the IOS platform.The desingning core of this sytem is to improving the service quality of therestaurant and the work efficiency of waiter. improve customer’s satisfaction,reduce thestaff labor intensity and the restaurant operating cost, then enhance the operationefficiency of the enterprise.at the same time analysis all kind of data of the restaurantrecipes and ordering,then ultimately improve the catering enterprisescompetitiveness.the system can provide food ingredients,cooking time and otherdetailed imfomation,customers can use the system order meal convenient.so it canprovide customers with more reference and degrees of freedom. The system’s the terminal equipent is iPad mobile.customers can be customized,intuitive menu,greatlyenhance the user experience,at the same time,through the Wi-Fi,customer’s orderinformation can be printed to the bar,disher,kitchen in time.and can also know theorder,add vegetables,return ad dish,change tables,and other information in time.thesegreatly improve the catering service efficiency,and enhance the competitiveness of thecatering enterprises.
