LTE-Advanced, an evolution system based on LTE, maintains backwardcompatibility with LTE. Comparing with LTE, LTE-Advanced adds some keytechnologies, such as Carrier Aggregation, Relay, SU-MIMO, CoMP, etc.Carrier Aggregation, a extremely important technology in the LTE-Advanced,extends multiple carriers of LTE into transmitted carriers of LTE-Advanced system byaggregation. Hence, the Rel8LTE system terminal could use anyone of thosecomponent carriers to communicate. At the same time, LTE-Advanced system terminalcould access multiple component carriers. This thesis first briefly introduces the background and basic knowledge of LTE,LTE-Advanced, and Carrier Aggregation. The main focuses here are aggregationscheme and implementation.Second, on the basis of introduction of HARQ technology, this thesis discusses thefeedback mode of ACK/NACK information under carrier aggregation. Then, detailedlydiscusses the bundling schemes adopted by ACK/NACK information feedback modewhen there are more component carriers. Also, this thesis proposes improvements of abundling feedback method.Third, discusses the basic concept of RM code and the coding strategy ofACK/NACK information feedback under carrier aggregation. This thesis also proposesan improvement solution of existing coding strategy and conducts contrast analysis oftwo solutions by simulation.Fourth, introduces the basic knowledge of SRS signal. Based on this introduction, analyses the design of the aperiodic SRS under carrier aggregation. Then focuses on thetransmission plan while allocating SRS and PUSCH/PUCCH at the same time. And alsodiscusses the issue of power distribution of multiple CCs.Last, summarizes the whole thesis and expects the future work.
