Digital Array Radar (DAR) is a kind of Phased Array Radar whose transmitting and receiving beams are formed using digital technology. DAR can change its beam direction instantaneously and generate transmitting waveform flexibly using direct frequency synthesis technology, which makes it more manageable. The purposes of radar resource management are to utilize limited system resource effectively and improve system performance. The essence of resource management is the configuration of radar task parameters, where time resource is controlled by the revisit interval and energy resource is controlled by the parameters of transmitting waveform. By selecting and optimizing these parameters, the purpose of saving resource and improving the system performance can be achieved.Modern radar must face the clutters, false alarm, Electronic Counter Measurement (ECM) et al. Taking these factors into consideration, the resource management of DAR in complex environment is researched in this dissertation, which can be summarized as follows:1) The time resource management of DAR in clutters is studied. Based on Probability Data Association algorithm with association gate enlargement through searching technique, revisit interval can be selected adaptively according to the state estimation accuracy of the target, which saves the time resource effectively.2) The energy resource management of DAR in clutters is also studied. By making the measurement error ellipsoid orthogonal to prediction error ellipsoid, the uncertainty of target motion state estimation can be reduced to the maximal degree. It can save the energy resource effectively under a certain tracking performance requirement.3) The countermeasures of two typical ECM form, SOJ and RGPO, are studied. By increasing the transmitting energy, target can be detected effectively in SOJ inference. A modified identification algorithm for RGPO and target pair has been proposed, which can reduce the misjudgment probability efficiently.4) Finally, resource management algorithm for MIMO mode of DAR has been studied. Compared with traditional working mode, the subarray number has been considered as a controllable parameter, which further increases the flexibility of DAR resource management.
