The Design And Implementation Of Ganjiang Hotel Guest Room Management System

With the development of tourism hotels and entertainment industry have got greatdevelopment, and it is popular to introduce computer services and computermanagement in daily work. At the same time, hotels and entertainment industryintroduce computer services and management has also got a good economic and socialbenefits. So, the Ministry of Construction made a decision: Any star hotel’s design mustinclude a computer management system when it’s in the project approval, otherwise, itwill be refused. It is clear, the computer management of clients is imperative in hotel.Gan Jiang Hotel of Jiangxi Nanchang Economic Development Zone is a four-starhotel. This thesis is about the demanding analysis and development process ofNanchang Gan Jiang hotel room’s management system. According to the hotel’sbusiness model and daily operation the system achieved the single occupancy, groupoccupancy, guest checkout, clients booking, business inquiry, room management,customer management, network setting, system setting and other functions. It will makethe clients living in the hotel conveniently, and make the staff and customers’management to achieve the standard management and improve efficiency and quality ofwork.According to the needs of system users, this paper carried out overall design ofsystem. We design functional framework and technical framework of the system basedon MVC stratified framework. We complete the design of database table according tothe design of system’s framework and model the functional modules of system. At last,the thesis describes the realization of functional modules. The system uses Windows XPas the system platform, take eclipse as the development platform, the use of advancedJSP technology development, the use of Struts framework, and using B/S architecture,database using SQLServer2000, convenient use, good scalability, high degree ofintegration and related software.
