Vibration and shock is the main reason for electronic products’ early failure. Inorder to ensure them can work properly, anti-vibration and optimization design must beused. This paper focuses on problems such as high displacement response due to lowstructural natural frequency and wide frequency input.(1) Study the sensitivity of typical structural vibration performance, and formsome structural design criteria (Design Rule) for engineers.(2) Research structural vibration performance parameter optimization method toincrease the structural natural frequency, do screw location and strengthen ribsoptimization in a simple motherboard and as a result achieve electronic products’low-frequency anti-vibration.(3) Study the visco-elastic damping principle, derive the material damping factor,use finite element parametric modeling language technique (ANSYS APDL) andgeneral-purpose programming language C#to do a secondary development of ANSYS,at last realize a motherboard visco-elastic damping material topology optimization, sothe problem caused by structure wideband frequency input is solved.This essay gets a full anti-vibration design method,and it can be useful for all theelectronic products’ structure design, vibration optimization and visco-elastic dampingmaterial topology optimization, so with this method electronic products can work wellin vibration and shock situation.The innovation for this paper is applying topology optimization into dampingmaterial, and this method is well used to reduce the displacement response by awideband frequency vibration.
