Along with the development of the Internet, Web applications based on B/S modelget huge development. Web applications released on the Internet can be visited atanytime and anywhere, while users don’t have to install any client software.At present, many enterprises in China begin to use the power of the Internet tomanage the enterprise information or propaganda enterprise image. A lot of enterprisesare positive in the opportunities. They gradually implement enterprise informationconstruction. In the enterprise information construction implementation, thedevelopment of information management system is crucial to the success of theenterprise information implementation factors. So enterprises need to invest a lot ofhuman and financial resources. However, the system which developed often failed tomeet the personalized requirements of enterprises and institutions.In order to solve the problems that the small and medium-sized enterprises meet inthe information construction, this paper puts forward a scheme to design and implementa rapid Web application development platform which applicable for the small andmedium-sized enterprises. By the thorough research on the Web applications and modeldriven architecture related theory, the paper analyzes the problems existing in themodeling and the model transformation process of rapid development platform, andputs forward the modeling and model transformation method for this platform.This thesis proposes a new method of domain specific meta-model modeling,which is different from the traditional one. In order to guarantee the accuracy of themodels, the meta-model is isolated respectively, and the thesis analyzes the fourmeta-models accordingly. Domain experts can participate in this process to make thequality of the modeling improved. Users can also customize various requirements, andwhen the requirements of users change, the meta-model can be easily modified. Thisprocess finally establishes a PIM meta-model on the platform.This thesis proposes a dynamic model transformation mechanism based on domainspecific meta-model. It mainly introduces the transformation between the PIM and Webapplication. Through the analysis of model mapping and transformation theory, we propose the model transformation rules of the platform. Model transformation process isdynamic. According to the state of the source model, the platform calls thecorresponding dynamic transformation rules, which precisely convert the elements inthe PIM to the corresponding elements in the PSM. At last, the platform generates aWeb application.At last this thesis introduces the overall design, platform work process, andimplementation detail and an application case of the platform.Based on the platform, we almost write no code to quickly develop a web-basedinformation management system for small and medium-sized enterprises. It greatlyshortens the development cycle, at the same time lowers the technical requirements forthe developers, thus reduces the development costs.
