With the development of technology and information technology, micro printer asthe main information output device, has been widely used in daily life in various fields,and new application situation emerge in an endless stream, especially for mobile andportable printers demand is increasing day by day, such as government departments ofpolice mobile system, mobile enforcement system field print law enforcementdocuments, because these applications to directly face the user, and print the sampletakes a long time to save, so the printer’s power consumption, portability, reliability andprint quality performance indicators in these scenes have higher requirements. At thesame time, with the development of microelectronics technology, embedded chip for itshigh performance, low cost gradually become the preferred solution of variousintelligent devices. This study is based on the above background, design micro printingsystem based on ARM Cotex M3core chip.This paper first introduces the application background of micro printing systemand the main development trend of its control system, in the analysis of researchstatus at home and abroad I, presents the system design objectives and content, namelythe completion of a miniature needle type printing system hardware and software, theprinter has the advantages of small size, low power consumption, simple operation,abundant interface etc; then based on the design goal of system,functional requirementsare analyzed and the system of non-functional requirements are obtained; the systemdemand analysis is performed, accomplish overall design of the system, namely, theworking principle of the system hardware and software platform selection in detail isdetermined based on the ARM Cotex M3STM32F103X kernel as main control chip;The system hardware platform in the detailed design process follows a hierarchical,modular design, eventually completed the printing system hardware circuit design,including the main control chip and a peripheral circuit, communication interface,system control, abnormal state detection and treatment, battery charging, keys and adisplay and a handpiece driven part;in software design, combined with the needle typeprinting system and the characteristics of modular design principles, respectively, to the data receiving, data processing, machine control, state detection and abnormalprocessing modules for programming and debugging, finally completed the wholesystem hardware and software detailed design work; finally combined with the systemrequirements, the system functional and performance testing process is introduced inthis paper.In this paper, based on the perfect design example, describe the schemedemonstration, demand analysis, system design and implementation, system testing ofthe whole process in detail, as in the electronic system and embedded system designprocess the design idea and method are basically similar, therefore this article to thesimilar system design has a good reference value.
