| With the development of information technology, the Internet has been deep into families. But different groups have different needs on the equipment and network information."The Rainbow Plan" is developed for the community residents with low income and low education. It is a new information model with thin client, network and server. With embedded terminal as the carrier, the web browser has interaction with the server. So the users can enjoy huge resources and precise information service provided by the server.This thesis discussed the development process of the Residents Information Management System in "The Rainbow Plan" and the optimization approaches for its Oracle10g database system. On this basis, the optimization approaches are applied to the Residents Information Management System. In this way the response time for data query is reduced and the system efficiency is improved.This thesis firstly introduces the realization of the Residents Information Management System. Through the comparison of technical advantages and disadvantages, the B/S structure and JAVA SSH framework are finally choosed for the system. The realization of the system also need to use middleware, Oracle10g database and operating system. And then Oracle optimization approaches of different levels are analysed in detail. Through adjusting the system parameters, building tables reasonably, optimizing the SQL statement and etc, the database system get to achieve the optimization purposes. Finally, according to the proposed method, the inhabitants information database on the Oracle10g is optimized. Through carrying out rational allocation of resources, the inquiry speed is enhanced without upgrade its software and hardware configuration.This system can be used to register personal information for normal inhabitant. It is convenient for the administrator to know the basic information of the residents and statistics of all kinds of population for the community. |
