HTML5is the Internet’s most popular front-end development. HTML5, as the nextgeneration of Web standards, its characteristics are a new version of each browser that gets fastsupport and reflect. HTML5aims to eliminate or reduce the complexity of the script and providethe function that previous versions requiring plug-ins can be achieved. Many large domestic andforeign Internet companies are developing to build a powerful HTML5application to constantlyperfect their Web products to allow users to get the best experience.This paper first introduces the HTML5and CSS3technology, and analyzes the compatibilityof today’s mainstream browser HTML5and CSS3. Then introduce Ajax technology and twoimportant framework which will be used in the development later and discuss their specificusage; the final design of the system, I design and develop a general-purpose statistical chartingtools based on three-tier structure, Asp.net pipe model and abstract factory. The tool has beenverified through the test and it can be compatible with SQL Server, static XML database.The meaning of this subject is that it does not use the chart controls of.net traditionally, butdraw the chart directly in client browser with Canvas of HTML5. It can be used in other systemsas a common tool to present chart. The tool is hot-swappable that it can be deployed andremoved quickly in other systems, and also run without compiled. HTML5and CSS3, combinewith jQuery library and Extjs Framework, are used in this subject as core technology for functiondevelopment and page presentation.This topic overcome the scarcity of relevant research data in the design, and explores aforefront development approach for the development of statistical charts, we have gained someexperience of a certain value in both technology research and product development.
