With the growing indoor environment pollution, and human indoor activity increasing,people are paying more and more attention of indoor air quality. In order to prevent indoorair pollution harm humans, the new high efficiency of the indoor environment monitoringsystem is particularly important.The view that the current market holds type of indoor environment can only test a singlecomponents of pullution, and there is a single, analysis inconvenience shortcomings. Sodeveloping a wireless embedded indoor environment monitoring system is necessary. Thesystem based on embedded ARM platform, with the ISM470M wirelessnetwork,transplants μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system,realize on wireless, multipoint and real-timemonitoring to indoor formaldehyde, benzene and other volatile carbon compounds (TVOC),dust particles, indoor air pollutants, carbon dioxide and temperature and humidity.The detecting system of indoor environment consists of testing center, wirelessCommunication module and sensors of collecting module. The acquisition module containsATmega8A single-chip microcomputer and the sensors and regulate circuit. The acquisitionmodule mainly completes measurement data collection and data processing which can beidentified by wireless Communication module. Another function is to receive and processpackets which the wireless Communication module sends over. Testing center is the core ofthe whole system, based on the S3C2440A embedded platform, which transplants theμC/OS-Ⅱ operating system. The testing center is responsible of sending the module Settingsand inquiring instructions, and receiving data from wireless Communication modules,andthen current-timely displays the sensors data, and then stores classification data. Another, thetesting center analyzes with data,when collection data beyond the set alarm threshold,testing center also will light alarming reminder.Finally, the system was tested. Test results show that testing center can control of sensorscollecting module by wireless module. The collecting sensors can collect corresponding dataaccording to instructions from the test center. Data can be sent to the test center not truly and be accurately displayed. In addition, the experiments show that the system realizes the betterhumanization of man-machine interface, and indoor and outdoor comparison function and theaudible and visual alarm remind function. Therefore, It has proved the feasibility of thisdesign.
