In this era of rapid development of information technology,learning styles, and even the ways of thinking have huge changed.Conforming to the demands of the times, informal learning,"real-time"learning and "discovery" learning also came into being. At the sametime, Based on the game of education has gradually emerged, whichgets more and more peoples attention. New Media Alliance predictedthat mobile learning and game-based learning will be an effectivelearning tool, which will be widespread used within two or three years.Although based on the game of education has been considerabledevelopment, but it is still very low quality. Thus, based on the game ofeducation’s development is limited; especially based on mobile deviceof educational games are very few. Therefore the author established aresearch question: how to rapidly develop high quality educationalgames which based on mobile devices. In this article, the authoraround the above research question, trying to design based on mobiledevices of educational games of education design’s model accordingto all elements affecting the quality of teaching and the mobile devicegame features; According to this model, design case studies, use theUnity3D which is three-dimensional development of cross-platformsoftware to develop an educational game; publish the game to thesmart phone which based on the Android system; Finally, the authoranalysis the case, and make summary of experience, hoped forproviding experience, references for the development of based onmobile devices of educational games.This paper is primarily divided into five chapters:Chapter1: Introducing background of study papers and researchquestions, and descripting the key issues and objectives of research,and introducing dissertation research methods. Chapter2: First of all, Analysis on teaching game theory fromtheory of games, video games and Entertainment educationtechnology; Second, brief introducing present a typical handheldmobile device and summary of survey of handheld mobile deviceapplications in education; finally, analysis on human-computerinteraction, the process of user information from the perspective ofhuman memory systems, and three elements of affecting theeducational games handheld mobile device, then, designingeducational game design’s model which based on handheld mobiledevices according to the above analysis.Chapter3: Designing the educational game---“Fun English”,according to educational game design’s model which based onhandheld mobile devices. Describing mainly from the following aspects:analysis the object of the educational game; establishing the goal,content, rules and degree of difficulty of the educational game;analysis the interactive, process and main scenario of the educationalgame.Chapter4: Introducing software development platform for Unity3Dand the key elements of its production technology; describing theAndroid system and Android game development environmentconfiguration and “Fun English” educational game technologyimplementation.Chapter5: Introducing the “Fun English” educational game anddiscussing making experience; At last, to sum up the thesis research,inadequacies of the proposed thesis research and the various follow-upstudies and research.
