The quality of elevator traffic dispatching is an important indicator in the design ofintelligent buildings and high-rise buildings. Elevator has been invented more than100years,but its development is rapid. In modern social and economic activities, the elevator has been asymbol of urban material civilization. Each large-scale high-rise building is a vertical city,high-level construction, large construction, people-centered design philosophy makes therequirements of elevator traffic dispatching more and more stringent. For buildings, thereasonable elevator traffic dispatching can help people use the elevator to invisibly allocatepopulation flows,in order to make space of the building is more fully utilized and to savepeople’s time. Unreasonable elevator traffic dispatching will not only reduce the utilization ofthe building, but also result in the underutilization of crowd congestion and lift.The core content of this paper is how to calculate the operation of the lift cycle, and onthe basis of previous data, make improvements. It proposed an improved elevatortransportation system overall input-output model and some statistical formula improvements,not only reduce the elevator transportation system variables, but also make the relationshipsof variables be more concise.This paper elaborates the elevator traffic dispatching theory asfollows.Firstly, introduce the background of elevator traffic configurationSecondly, how to calculate the operation of the lift cycle, and propose an improvedelevator transportation system overall input-output model and some statistical formulaimprovementsThirdly, analyze the elevator traffic dispatching model.Fourthly, software development of the elevator traffic dispatching in VB6.0, not onlyincluding on the elevator configuration module of the six types of buildings, but alsoincluding the performance evaluation module.This design method is more concise and convenient than the traditional elevator trafficconfiguration method, and increased performance evaluation model, to provide users withmore option. Of course, this design also has many disadvantages, and hope can be improvedin the later research.
