Ultra-Wideband (UWB:Ultra-Wideband) signal develope accompanied by thedevelopment of radar technology. According to the theory of antenna signal, the measurementaccuracy and range resolution ratio depend on the bandwidth of signal, In order to improvethe ranging accuracy and range resolution ratio, the bandwidth of signal should be large.When the increased bandwidth of signal can compare to its center frequency,the signal isultra-wideband signal.Compared with conventional narrowband and broadband electromagnetic signals,ultra-wideband electromagnetic signals have high spatial resolution ratio and positionfunction, and have the ability to inhibit the effects of multipath and penetrate the lossymedium. The signal received by the system contains wealth information of object, we canobtain more physical characteristics of object by processing the signal. Ultra-widebanddetection technology, as a new detection technology, has been used more and morefrequently in engineering application, such as early detection and diagnosis of breast tumors,the detection and diagnosis of road and walls and so on.Wavelet analysis base on Fourier analysis. Fourier transform,as a globaltransformation,has some limitations. In practical application,people have made variousimprovements of Fourier transform, then Wavelet analysis come up. Wavelet analysis is anemerging branch of mathematics,It is a perfect combination of pan-function, Fourier analysis,harmonic analysis and numerical analysis.In application field especially in signal processing,image processing, speech processing and many other nonlinear science field,Wavelet analysisis regarded as another effective time-frequency analysis following Fourier analysis.Based on full understanding of existing ultra-wideband detection technology in thispaper,I have studied the application of ultra-wideband radar on concrete block detection androad detection,delved into Wavelet analysis in theoretical analysis especially in imageprocessing applications, clarified image denoising(smoothing) algorithm and enhancingalgorithm based on wavelet transform denoising and achieved simulation experiments.Inaddition,I have improved the traditional global threshold estimation method based onthreshold denoising and put forward the local adaptive threshold estimation method, compared the effects with conventional image processing and given analysis.The methods inthis paper improve the accuracy rate of judgment and analysis when processingultra-wideband radar imaging, and promote the development and application ofUltra-Wideband radar detection.
