Mongolian Mangagement System Base On "NNT" Office System

Mongolian (Traditional Mongolian) differs from many other languages in computer display, Memory, Identification, Processing, and Transmission, etc, because it is a written language adopting unique vertical display. Although Traditional Mongolian has its editing system, it still can not be applied directly to the special office software. The paper adopts Single-byte Mongolian encodings combined with control characters and uses ActiveX Plug-in to achieve the handling of the Mongolian, so that NNT office system is able to display and edit Mongolian and Chinese at the same time, i.e. what you see is what you get. Besides, the software can mark and count the corpus of Mongolian daily words and expressions, becoming an open-ended special Mongolian to Chinese Translation Computer-aided dictionary, focusing on the establishment of common words and expressions’word bank and dictionary index, and Mongolian word retrieval, entering, editing, etc. Mongolian Plug-in is the easiest way to handle Mongolian based on the original software, and largely reduces the difficulty and workload of software development. This plug-in can also be applied to editor, office system, OS, Application software, etc. Therefore, it is technically significant to extend the achievements of the paper to other systems.
