Calibration Method And Application Research Of3D Body Measurement System Using Stripe Grating Projection

The dual camera3D measurement method based on grating projection technique is a non-contact optical3D profile measurement, the rectangular or other shape of the grating is projected onto the object to be measured that using common white light, and then the measured object raster distortion image were filmed by two industrial CCD cameras. The image depth information will be calculated basing on the relative geometry positions between the raster distortion fringe image pixel gray value changes and two CCD industrial camera, and then the measured object3D contour point cloud data are achieved. Because of simple principle, high precision, rapidness of measuring, non-contact in meassuring and white light is harmless to the human body, the natural light grating projection measurement has great application value in the field of3D body measurement, garment design and processing and virtual try-on garment industry.Combined with Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Project named "Development and application of digital clothing technology" and Hunan Municipal Science and Technology Project named "Researches and development of digital clothing designing and system integration technology",this thesis researches on the following subjects:1. The study of3D measurement method, this project select a3D measurement method based on grating projection according to the actual, design a3D human body measurement system realizing the3d point cloud model reconstruction in the hands of grating projection based on the measuring principle. 2. By choosing the "zhang’s calibration method" as the calibration method of this topic through the comparison of three kinds of calibration method, and a novel and flexibility calibration plan was designed,which realize the rapid calibration of the double camera3d body measurement system.3. A black-and-white chessboard calibration plate, which based on the in-depth analysis and research the affecting factors of precision calibration structure in the calibration process, and combined the combination of dual camera calibration system model, was designed,and the desired accuracy,after improving the calibration parameters, finally achieve.The experimental results show that the precision of the system calibration method can be controlled within1.2%, and the measurement error of the3d body measurement system is less than5mm. So it can be widely used to clothing industry.
