With the rapid development of e-government andinformation technology, the government departments hava a large number of macroeconomic indicators data. Faced with the large number of indicator data, how to analyze these data for the next decision-making reference is very critical.OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing), as a data warehouse tool, is used for the interactive analysis of multi-granularity multi-dimensional data. Through OLAP, we can find out the useful information and the law that people want from the original data quickly.The information is easy to understand by person and reflect the truth.Relying on the province’s major scientific and technological innovation project "Intelligent-decision supporting system based on macroeconomic data warehouse ",OLAP system is used in the field of macroeconomic to achieve the analysis of multi-angle and multi-dimensional data.The paper complete OLAP modeling, metadata management, OLAP analysis and report enquiry. In the precomputation of data cube in OLAP modeling, this article present an algorithm of Multi-way Cuboid Aggregation for Full Cube Computation and analyze the content of the algorithm.The application results show that this algorithm is feasible and easy to implement.Innovation points:1. OLAP system is used in the analysis of macroeconomic Intelligent-decision to achieve the analysis of multi-angle and multi-dimensional data.2. Developed and realized the Algorithm of Multi-way Cuboid Aggregation for Full Cube Computation. While a cube is being scanned, the aggregation values of the new cubes which are generated by rolling up multiple dimension levels are also being calculated. This algorithm supports calculating the calculation of data cube with large data scale.3. Development of data cube update mechanism, creating update-index table, using time-slice to update the data cube. It ensures effectively the information timeliness and reliability.
