Because3DES algorithm uses the168bits of key which is difficult to be cracked, it has been most secure before1997. However,3DES algorithm is designed to use a relatively simple method, which achieves security by increasing the length of key. On the other hand, it will make a delay by using DES for three times. So, since Rijndael, AES has been selected as an advanced encryption standard, and was expected to become the accepted encryption used for digital information in financial, telecommunications and government. Algorithm of advanced encryption standard uses Round function, which can choose10,12or14times. Along with the development of modern cryptanalysis level, chip processing capability and computing technology, the Rijndael function of algorithm of advanced encryption standard (AES) will be applied in various industries, like virtual special network, SONET, remote access server, high speed ATM/Ethernet router, mobile communication, satellite communication, electronic financial services, and it has gradually replaced DES in IPSec, SSL and ATM. Now, IEEE802.11i draft has defined two different modes of operation in AES encryption, which successfully resolved many security problems of the wireless LAN standard. On this occasion, the problem in security and rapid realization of AES algorithm seems particularly prominent. This thesis gives a comprehensive discussion on these, which is expected to provide a reference for related researches and applications.The thesis introduces the design of AES algorithm and some theoretical analysis results of AES in code analysis at home and abroad. In addition, the thesis explains the four steps of AES based on basic mathematics knowledge. This thesis analyses the research of the AES encryption algorithm and its application can be used with the Wireless sensor Network and the image encryption of AES algorithm. Finally, analyses research of the AES encryption Based on C#Visualization, to realize and simulate its algorithm process. At last, we conclude that it can be used widely by its security ability.
