This paper studies the analysis and design problem of fault-tolerant controller based onpredictive control under failure modes. According to fault-tolerant control technology andpredictive control theory, combining the reliability of the former and the effective treatmentfor constraints and receding optimization principle of the latter, the design problem offault-tolerant controller is transformed into solving optimization problem based on predictivecontrol algorithm. The main contents are stated as follows:For a class of constrained multi-sensor linear fault system, we propose a fault-tolerantcontrol scheme based on robust predictive control strategy. Firstly, the observer is designedfor multi-sensor linear systems,then, invariant set sequences is designed off-line, and thetime-varying state estimation error exists in the corresponding invariant set sequences. A newfault detection method is proposed based on the invariant set theory. Lastly, we designfault-tolerant controller for fault system based on robust predictive control strategy, and theclosed-loop system robust stability is proved. The simulation results show that the method isfeasible.For a class of constrained multi-actuator linear fault system,we propose a fault-tolerantcontrol scheme based on robust predictive control strategy. Firstly, a bank of state estimatorsare designed for multi-actuator linear systems, then, invariant set sequences is designedoff-line, and suitable residual variables lie inside in the corresponding invariant set sequences,Lastly, we design fault-tolerant controller for fault system based on robust predictive controlstrategy, and the closed-loop system robust stability is proved. The simulation results showthat the method is feasible.Consider a class of discrete time nonlinear fault system, we propose a fault-tolerantcontrol scheme based on robust predictive control strategy, Firstly, we use the feedbacklinearization to linearize the fault system,propose a uncertainty description. we designRMPC fault-tolerant controller for fault system using the method of linear matrix inequality,and the closed-loop system robust stability is proved...
