The Gc Dual-mode Gateway Network Technology Application In China Telecom Mobile

This paper describes the China Telecom GC dual-mode gateway’s location and function, principles and security solutions in the mobile network.The GC dual-mode gateway is a dedicated gateway placed between GSM and CDMA networks, is an network equipment which can fulfill the automatic roaming in the GSM network and CDMA network. The current status of the international mobile communication network is that the GSM network coverage area is significantly larger than the CDMA network. Only the GC dual-mode gateway, can ensure CDMA users of international roaming, and solve the complementary problem of the GSM network and CDMA network coverage.In the first chapter there is a brief description of the location of the GC dual-mode gateway, its function in the second chapter. Then in the third chapter, depicting the difference of SS7in GSM network and CDMA network, and the detailed description of the GC dual-mode gateway interface and business processes in the fourth chapter. Finally focuses on the GC dual-mode gateway system security solutions in the fifth chapter.
