The Vertical Search Engine Based On The Professional Knowledge

Search engine provides an interface for network users so that they can get what they want among the vast information base. However, updating the web information in real time by search engine cannot meet the demands of regular users, such as the low information coverage and accuracy and the inaccuracy of the return of the effective information and lots of invalid information. Besides, it is difficult to maintain the huge wed search base, collect and store information. Thus, the professional vertical search engine appears which has made up the shortage of the general search engine. This essay mainly introduces the design and the processing of the vertical search engine which bases on the professional knowledge of BMCC.This essay introduces the background and the origin briefly, and it also presents the significance of search engines and their development at home and abroad in the first place. In the second place, this essay explains the basic concept of search engine and the relative technologies about the vertical and general search engine. The advantages and disadvantages of the two search engine in its applications are analyzed in this paper; it compares the differences and similarities in key technology and whole system architecture.Then the essay sets out the main functional modules algorithm and the design and achievements of key technology in the project of BMCC. At last, it describes the application of the system. BMCC vertical search project improves the downside of the original searching system and realizes the new applicative function. The results of this project’s workflow, overall design and the accomplishment of key technology will be benefit to the research of vertical search engine and the construction of practical vertical search engine. The paper which sets the problems exposed in BMCC project as a background designs the structure of the system based on vertical search engine and improve the weakness of the original system.BMCC vertical search engine is successfully applied in daily life. It satisfies the demands of the professional with broad market prospects and great practical value.
