With the rapidly developing of communication technologies, many new and original internet applications turned up. Among them, the online video is favorit-e by the majority of Internet users. According to the statistics report of the dev-elopment status of China internet,the number of online video users in China has increased to325million which accounts for63.4%among Internet users. Com-pared with the C/S mode, the notable advantages of the P2P mode have enabl-ed the rapid development of the P2P technology, of which the application has covered more and more areas, become a research area filled with potential and significance.P2P streaming is developing very quickly where lots of mature system has been emerged in just a few years. At the same time, it is a rapidly developing field along with the birth of the new technology system itself is also keeping const-ant optimization. So based on this background this paper proposes designs and evaluates the performance of varies corresponding optimization schemes for a mature P2P streaming. Main work and study of this paper are as below:1. A improved channel id allocation scheme is proposed for P2P VOD sy-stem. The new id allocation scheme is based on the media content. For the same media, the same channel id will be returned whatever it is created at di-fference time or difference locations. The channel ids are the same, P2P nodes can share media from each other, so the P2P effect is optimized.2. A high efficiency transport error correction mechanism is proposed for V-OD P2P system. In the new scheme, the media file is divided into a number of storage unit. The storage unit is the smallest unit of data check. The new scheme improves the original error correction mechanism, and greatly improvs the efficiency of error correction.3. A improved node discovery mechanism is proposed for P2P live system. In the new scheme, P2P nodes are divided into several types according to the importance and the number of node, different partner nodes discovery mecha-nism is provided for different type. The management of the node table is dispers-ed into the multi-layer nodes. The reliability and scalability of the node manage-ment is greatly improved.4. A new start time selection scheme is proposed for P2P live system. In the scheme, the start time of node depends on the contributions for P2P network. The larger the contribution is, the forward the start time is. The scheme opti-mizes the structure of the P2P live node tree, and greatly improves the effect of liv-eP2P.5. The paper increases P2P speed limit function for P2P network. On one hand, the user can set speed limits according to their own network conditions, the function improve the user experience; The other hand, by limiting the download speed P2P client can control the progress of live, to avoid the problem of that most of client node request media data from server node.Finally, the experiment proves the performance of the improved P2P stream ing. We can find that the improved system is better than the original P2P stream-ing by analyzing the result of the experiment and the anticipated results are r-ealized. |
