This dissertation researches the key technology of personal information retrieval and user interest model. According to the need of personal information retrieval for branch company of E&P, it proposes the design formula for the personal information retrieval system, which is based on the structure of composition and organization of exploration personal information retrieval. And then it implements part function of the personal information retrieval system. The entire system is composed of web crawler module, the preprocessing module, the index module, the user interface module, the personalized information service module and the search module composition. In web crawler module, it adopts the multi-thread programming technology and uses the information retrieval strategy for collecting important web priority. The preprocessing module comprises of web interpretation module and Chinese segmentation module, and it realizes the function of Chinese segmentation by use of forward maximum matching algorithm. As the index module, it constructs the index documents by use of inverted index technology. Also it realizes the user query interface functions through.NET. In personal information service module, it commends retrieval results by use of knowledge base, the user interest model and hybrid information filtering technology, and thus it realizes the personal services functions that information actively looking for people. Actual application of the system in exploration portal shows that no matter response speed, the rate of recall and precision can meet the needs of the user’s personal service, which is also appreciative criticism criticized by users.
