This thesis is concerned with the intelligent search operation based on ontology.People in databases usually use the formatting query languages for information,butthe query languages lead to inflexibility because of rigid formatting formation and beDifficult to understand for people. Besides, the results acquired perform in tables foravoiding of Redundancy, but it’s difficult to understand. Recently, databasesincorporate with ontology for realizing the inquiries and performance of semantichierarchy of databases. However, the construction of ontology take large work, andmostly using ontology a concept system to realize the related concepts and aclassification of the relationship between the concept, however, the construction ofthese ontology has some defects, such as: it does not make an explanation to theconceptual related individuals. In addition, using manual or semi-manual mode torealize the creation of ontology will lead to low query efficiency. Based on theabove-mentioned defects,this thesis mainly studies the automatic creation of theontology and the intelligent search operation by use of the automatic created ontologyand word segmentation technology so that further expand search range, enhancespeed,improve precision and recall rate.The main contributions of the thesis on the intelligent search operation are asfollowing three aspects:(1) Based on the ontology knowledge and the Chinese word segmentationtechnology, we analyze the conversion rules and the conversion process from therelational database to ontology document: that is to say, through the ontology from thedatabase of the source data extraction for semantic and concept record, and then weuse the query processing to locate the word segmentation words and semantic, basedon keywords and semantic from the ontology documents we can find related conceptsand feedback the information.(2) We study the system design and implementation on the Internet intelligentsearch. The system contains three function modules: ontology processing, participleextraction and database processing. The ontology processing function: by theontology automatic extraction of database information it creates database specificontology document, and realizes the function of the semantic extraction, and also itprovides basis for the inquires semantic analysis; The word segmentation extraction function: according to the statement carried on the user inquires points keywords andthe extraction of the relationship, the contrast of the related documents and ontologyextraction of the relationship; The database processing function: it’s used for realizingthe responses to specific issue corresponding data extraction and database datamodified, etc. This function can mean by semantic way realization databaseprocessing, and reflect a participle technology and ontology to the processing of thedatabases.(3) We demonstrate the system based on the ontology and word segmentationtechnology by some examples and the results show that the system has the advantagesof the wide search range, the high precision and the high recalls of inquiries.
