Design And Realization Of Test Paper Algorithm In Online Examination System

Online examination system is built on Internet applications to realize information management of examinations. Characterized by a relatively simple client-side configuration, the examination will not subject to geographical constraints. The system automatically generates, submits and examines test papers online. What teachers have to do is to design and maintain different types of test questions, which will greatly reduce their burden, regulate the test process and improve efficiency. This means it’s theoriodical as well as practically valuable to develope the online examination system.The background of online examination system is first introduced, and based on this, we conduct the survy and requirement analysis and decide to employ the Struts+Hibernate+Spring Web architechture and MVC (Model View-Controller) pattern. We build the system with MyEclipse5.5.1GA as developing tool, Tomcat5.5as container, MySQL5.0as database. This paper introduces the system architechture and the function components of the system, describes the design of database and modules and proposes the concept based on a new heuristic genetic algorithm for designing test paper to satisfy the practical requirement.The results of application and testing analysis show that this new algotithm meet the requirement appropriately for practical purpose.
