Based On The Kad Network Emule Node Resources Survey And Analysis

The P2P file-sharing system has become one of the largest Internet flow now,suchas sharing the file resources,sharing the storages,sharing the services,the collaborativecomputing,the collaborative processing and the instant messaging(Tencent QQ),thestreaming media applications.The P2P network’s the technology has been ubiquitous onthe Internet.The files in the P2P network are stored distributedly.The eMule network isone of the most important type of the P2P networks. Because the eMule network hasbecome more and more important role,the problems such as the security ofnetworks,shared resources’intellectual property infringement,pornography,transmissionof the virus and other issues are also more and more outstanding.The eMule network’characteristics determines these problems are difficult to prevent and control,soexploring and analysing the nodes’ shared resource information of the eMulenetwork,summing up the law of the distribution of the nodes and the sharedresources,building the distribution model system,forming an effective monitoring on theeMule network environment is particularly important.The focus of the thesis is how to obtain the nodes’ address through the KADnetwork, analying the geographical distribution of the nodes.Obtaining the sharedrescource information by the communication of the nodes, analying the sharedresource’s contents on the regular line nodes in the eMule network, such as the sharedfile size,the shared file type,the highest rate of the file sharing.Establishing the relvantdata sets.The measurement platform for a long time to run can guarantee the mostrealistic response to the eMule network node resourcesprofiles, after further researchunder the bedding.In order to complete the large-scale and the long time’s data sample collecting, theresearch work done in this thesis is as follows:(1)The research of the eMule network active measurementThe combination of the measurement example of the P2P network at home andoverseas,establishing our own measurement programs.The focus is to build ourown efficient crawling, using the E-Crawler interact with the KAD network, obtaining the nodes information, and pubishing our own resources through the KAD network, letother nodes connect to our platform. The active way can ensure fastly connect lots ofthe active nodes and obtain the most real data in the eMule network.(2)Build a measurement system platformBuild a eMule protocol-based network measurement platform, the platform can bemore stablely and efficiently collecting the nodes’ shared resource information in thereal Internet network.(3)The data display and analysis after the acquisitionIn this thesis, the analysis of the several aspects of the data:1.the analysis of the node geographic.2.the analysis of the node clients’ version.3.the analysis of the shared file resources,such as the single file’s size, the singlefile type, the file copy, the shared file numbers and the total files’size.
