Communication side and jamming side are the two parties of the communicationcountermeasure. On one hand, both sides will take a variety of anti-jamming methods toensure one’s own communication system well; on the other hand, they will also take avariety of jamming methods to destroy enemy’s communication system. The side whogets the initiative advantage in military confrontation will be more likely to succeed inthe result of military confrontation. The frequency hopping spread spectrum technology and adapitive frequencyhopping technology are often used in military communications. It is one of the mosteffective ways to get the initiative advantage in military confrontation that we pay theleast expense to destroy the enemy’s normal communication and make its BER increaseby using efficient jamming strategy and jamming pattern. Through studying thecommunication characteristics of the enemy’s frequency hopping and adapitivefrequency hopping technology and analyzing their frequency hopping parameters, wecan achieve effective jamming to enemy’s communication systems, which is a hot topicin the field of communications countermeasure. Therefore, we study the jammingperformance of conventional jamming signal to frequency hopping and adapitivefrequency hopping systems, and propose two new multi-tone jamming algorithms, which are called blind hopping adaptive multi-tone jamming algorithm and intellectualhopping adaptive multi-tone jamming algorithm. In second chapter, firstly we introduced the composition and working principle offrequency hopping and adapitive frequency hopping systems, and then analyzed theircommunication characteristics, which laid the foundation of jamming strategy researchfor the subsequent chapters. In third chapter, firstly we introduced the development of communication jammingtechnology and the evaluation criteria of jamming performance, secondly we studied thejamming effects to the frequency hopping and adapitive frequency hopping systems ofthe conventional jamming signal (single tone jamming signal, multi-tone jammingsignal, broadband noise jamming signal, partial band noise jamming signal, swept-frequency jamming signal and tracking jamming signal), and then simulated thesystem model and analyzed the simulation results. In fourth chapter, we proposed blind hopping adaptive multi-tone jammingalgorithm and intellectual hopping adaptive multi-tone jamming algorithm, based on thethe theoretical BER and simulation model analysis of the conventional multi-tonejamming signal, and then simulated and analyzed the jamming performance of this twonew algorithms to the frequency hopping and adapitive frequency hopping systems inAWGN channel. In the following, we compared and ananlyzed the jammingperformance of different multi-tone jamming patterns to the frequency hopping andadapitive frequency hopping systems, and found the optimal jamming type.In last chapter, we summarized the contributions of the full-text content, andpropose several research directions in the future work.
