Broadband IF signal processing module can reach high-speed, high-precision data acquisition and broadband signal spectrum processing, it has the features with large data throughput and complex function control. Modular product dimension makes it possible that lots of advanced hardware functional units integrated in a limited space. As a typical representative of the data acquisition system, it is widely used in electronic warfare, radar, digital communications and other electronic equipment based on high-performance sampling technology.With the project of "broadband IF signal data acquisition and test module", the dissertation deeply researches on design of the architecture, the command channel, the HPI data path, interface logic of broadband IF signal processing module. The hardware system includes the acquisition board which has the functional circuits of analog channels, high speed and high precision sampling (1GSPS), the sampling clock and trigger control, and6U CPCI carrier board which can reach real-time data processing, mass data storage and interface control. Due to the complexity of the relationship between the functional circuit, the effective control of each functional circuit is directly related to the implementation of the module overall system specification.The interface logic can be defined as a link between the downstream hardware and user actions, and convert the host commandsto a series of local-side signal. Control logic provides all underlying command path, and resolves the local signal matching to the command parameters to ensure that the module has correct and reliable response. Meanwhile high-speed, large-throughput data streams are uploaded at the speed of528MB/S to the host in the way of DMA (direct Memory access direct Memory Access). Not only does dissertation introduce the circuit design of interface and control logic from the hardware, but also the interface driver. And finally, the experiment results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the modular design.
