Research And Implementation Of Packet Classification Technology For Data Flow Control Sysytem

In recent years,with the rapid development of mobile Internet,the number of network devices,Internet users,and applications grows rapidly and the type and quantity of network flow is also increasing.With the advent of Internet era,network security is playing an increasingly important role.Therefore,the management and control of network flow is a necessary requirement to safeguard the security of network and the interests of country and society.The premise of network management and control is to classify the network flow.The process of classification is to match the network packets with the set of rules.However,how to classify the network flow fast and efficiently in fast network environment is difficult.Although so far,some achievements have been made on packet classification algorithms,the earlier classical algorithms and later improved algorithms all have their own advantages and disadvantages.There is still a long way to go to study and improve the packet classification algorithms.The goal of this project is to develop a data flow control system which can work in the Gigabit wire-speed network environment,and also design and implement a packet classification algorithm for the system.The work includes both practical project development and theoretical research.The application of algorithm in the data flow management and control system can test the theoretical research,which has a strong practical significance.Furthermore,the research of packet classification is meaningful to other network technologies such as routers,firewalls and QoS.Firstly,this paper introduces the background of the project,research status,problems,and the contents of this article.Secondly,it describes the key technologies used in this study.Thirdly,it introduces a kind of packet classification algorithm based on the improvement in HyperCuts.The introduction of the algorithm includes the design,implementation,and performance testing.Fourthly,it introduces system design,implementation and testing of the data flow control systems,and the application of packet classification algorithm in the data flow control system.The last of the paper summarizes the work,describes deficiencies existing,as well as the direction of improvement next.
