With the rapid development of computer-related hardware and software, thelow-cost hardware and software that easily to be developed lead video chat, videoconferencing and other long-range communications technology develope rapidly too.This has been gradually changing the way people use to communicate. Meanwhile, withthe continuous development of video codec encoding and decoding standards. Theiradvantage has become increasingly evident. The Keypoint in the implement of videoconference system is encoding and decoding. In order to get high quality images in thelimited network bandwidth, The video conference system need high encoding anddecoding compression ratio,and so on.This thesis just aims at the issues mentioned above. To give the XiChang ElectricalCompany and sub company an platform of the conferevce, the related technology ofvideo conference system is to be researched. The main substance is as follows.1. Research the related technology and protocol. Analyzed the type of videoconferencing systems,composition and implementation of standards,and thesystem access methods; In order to improve the compression ration inencoding and decoding, and enhanced resistance to packet loss and errorresilience. This thesis make the connection between H.323and H264to makeit better.2. Design and implement of the palform.Based on the research of relatedtechnologies, the details of how to design and realize XC-NodeHub andXC-ClientView are described.Then the test results also are expounded.According to the analysis of the related protocol,and the research and implement ofrelated technologies, This thesis give an video conference system to the XiChangElectrical company, the experiment result shows that users can make a bettercommunication in the company.
