Airborne Bistatic SAR has the advantages of flexible platform configuration, therich echo information and strong anti-jamming with the separate transmit-receiveplatform. Bistatic SAR is a hot reaseach area in SAR now, which has broad prospects inthe military and civilian field.How to get high-resolution image is the key technologyfor airborne Bistatic SAR. The airborne Bistatic SAR system features and imagingtechnology is studied in this paper.1. The echo model of any configuration of airborne Bistatic SAR is analyzed. Then,airborne bistatic SAR system operating mode is discussed. Restrictions of transmitpulse parameters are studied through studing how the system fuzzy impacting on theimaging in this basis.2. The error origin of LBF is studied, then the weighted of LBF algorithm isproposed based on the carrier aircraft platform for the contribution of the azimuthDoppler. The WLBF algorithm expanding azimuth Doppler item into phase polynomialof transmit-receive platform, using the principle of stationary phase to get phaseexpression of the Bistatic SAR, which is able to get the high precision of thetwo-dimensional spectrum.3. A higher order approximation of another series inversion method (MSR)proposed in this paper to calculate the accurate two-dimensional spectrum of BistaticSAR. The weighted LBF algorithm is a special case of an approximate orderapproximate MSR algorithm. There is still some approximation in weigh of LBFalgorithm.4. An accurate solution for two-dimensional spectrum of the target echo gained byorder approximate inversion method to improve the traditional airborne bistatic SARimaging algorithm. Analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the SAR imagingprocessing algorithms, and improve the method of the range cell migration correctionand azimuth compression implementation, the Extended Nonlinear Chirp-ScalingAlgorithm(ENCS) is proposed.The simulation analysis the algorithm performance of acomplicated geometry mode. 5. Depth analysis of airborne Bistatic SAR motion error sources, and SimulationAnalysis of Motion Error on target imaging, the motion compensation method for ananalysis of the motion error parameters is discussed, simulation analysis theperformance of the method in the paper.
