Beijing traffic organization optimization and simulation platform is an important part of intelligent transportation system in Beijing. Aims to enhance the level of Traffic Management and Planning, improve the ability of urban transport facilities construction and management in Beijing, improve the predictive ability of urban road and distribute real-time dynamic traffic information, to alleviate road traffic congestion situation. Traffic flow simulation model which suitable for urban mixed traffic flow characteristics of large or medium-sized city is build on the Platform. Using the computer realize more realistic simulation to the structure of the urban road, function, behavior and behavioral characteristics of the traffic participants and process of selection. Achieve simulation server load balancing by using simulation task scheduling algorithm. This paper introduce distributed simulation platform which based geographic information system. The platform can manage the simulation model of330intersections within the project area and traffic simulation network can be automatically generated on a GIS map. In regional assessments, the results data of simulation can be fused from a single junction to a region. The platform change the traditional traffic organization situation "prior-free assessment, after the non-evaluation" and establish a scientific, standardized evaluation system for the design of traffic management and control measures to prior assessment and post-mortem analysis. This platform effectively improves traffic management and control of decision-making level, services in the concrete practice of the Beijing urban transport planning, construction of transport facilities, traffic accident prevention, traffic management and control.In this paper, Beijing traffic organization optimization and simulation platform is the main study object. First introduce the concept of traffic simulation and research situation of distributed traffic simulation at home and abroad. Second according to the project development needs, introduce related knowledge of platform, including intersection modeling steps and modeling specification of VISSIM software, automated analysis of regional modeling, task allocation algorithm of the distributed traffic simulation platform, evaluation results data fusion of regional simulation model, and verify the effectiveness of the core algorithm of simulation platform-task assignment scheduling algorithm. Finally describe the process of project development from the perspective of system design and implementation and verify the management and design function of single-junction module.
