The data transmission quality and system throughput rate are increasing demanded in thefuture multiple antennas broadband wireless communication systems, it put forward topromote the research and development for new and complex signal processing technology.Multi-antenna space-time pre-coding at the transmitter as a modern signal processingtechnology using imperfect channel state information or partial channel state informationcorresponding to the pre-sent information to improve the system capacity or reduce bit errorrate. According to the transmitter using the channel state information case, pre-codingtechniques can be divided into imperfect channel pre-coding techniques and partial channelpre-coding techniques. This paper studies the pre-coding technology for single-user andmulti-carrier multi-user MIMO wireless communication systems, emphasis on the limitedfeedback pre-coding technology research, the text is divided into five parts, the specific workand innovation are summarized as follows:Firstly, this paper reviews the background and significance, the multi-antennamulti-carrier technology and the research status space-time pre-coding are introduced; thenintroduces the basic theory of MIMO multi-carrier systems, MIMO channel model is given,and single-user and multi-user MIMO system capacity are analyzed; the paper first study theimperfect channel pre-coding technology for single-user MIMO Multi-Carrier Space-Timepre-coding system, focus on the simulation and analysis for linear pre-coding and non-linearpre-coding method, the linear pre-coding has the similar performance for traditional lineardetection, non-linear pre-coding can eliminate the error propagation effect of layeredspace-time codes effectively, the complexity of receiver effectively is reduced, for partialchannel pre-coding technology, focus on limited feedback pre-coding based on codebookdesign and limited statistical information, and its corresponding detection method simulatedand analysised, the paper focuses on the limited feedback precoding based on codebookdesign, and an improved nonlinear detection method for spatil complex systems with limitedfeedback pre-coding is proposed, and a nonlinear detection method for spatil complex systemswith perturbation codebook is proposed, it can ensure the system BER performance in thecase of the feedback link cost be reduced; Then this paper study the Space-Time Pre-codingfor multi-user MIMO multi-carrier systems, the paper focuses on multi-user MIMO precoding based on codebook, a limited feedback precoding method for multi-user MIMO-OFDM basedon codebook perturbation is proposed, due to multi-user MIMO-OFDM downlink systemscan not cooperative processing receive signals among users, a limited feedback precodingscheme for multi-user MIMO-OFDM based on array precessing is proposed, the proposedmethod to ensure that the feedback link cost and system throughput, the system errorperformance is improved effectively; finally, summary for the full paper, the furtherdiscussion and outlook for follow-up papers and issues.
