Research On Geographic Information System Software Testing Standard System

This article aims to building up the standard system of geographicinformation system(GIS) software testing.Testing exist in the whole life cycle of GIS software and testing standardplays an important role for software quality. However, as the combination ofsoftware testing and GIS, standard of GIS software testing provide morespecialized theoretical methods and technical for GIS software testing. GISsoftware testing have been carrying out of ten years at home and abroad, therelated research work has achieved some progress, but there is still no relatedstandards to guide its work. In this case, it is important to standardize testingwork and form standard system for GIS software testing.In this paper, Based on the analysis of theory of software testing technologyand the characteristic of geographical information system, combined with theactual work, make a summarization on the testing methods, processes andstandardized of testing work. According to the analysis work on the dependentsubject system of geographic information system software testtingstandardization system, applying theory of system engineering to standardizedtesting activities. In accordance with the required for standardization work,builded a standards framework for geographic information system softwaretesting, do a preliminary agreement content for standards and some proposedwork needed, provided reference for building standards system of geographicinformation systems software testing.
