Food safety is a public health issue related to human health, In recent years, food safety incidents occur frequently, threatening the health of the public, and even affect the stable development of society and economy. With the popularity of the internet, the internet media also play a huge role in food safety incidents as an important information transmission channels. The network public opinion began to demonstrate its unparalleled strength and influence of the developments.By the network public opinion analysis of2011typical food safety incidents-Shuanghui clenbuterol incident, tinted steamed buns incident and Taiwan plasticizer incident, the impact of monitoring and guidance of network public opinion on food safety incidents was studied, and the network public opinion has become an important reference for government decision-making.
