Compared to traditional point-to-point control system, network controlsystem is full distributed and more advanced. Because of the network reduceddelay and data package loss led by the network, the traditional control theoriesand methods cannot be used directly. How to deal with these problems withcontroller design? How to apply the existing control theories and methods tonetworked control system? These issues are the main contents in this paper.Firstly, according to the different random distribution characteristics ofsensor to controller delay and controller to actuator delay in the networkedcontrol system, an asymptotically stable criterion is derived for the close-loopsystem by a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii function. The conservatism of thecontroller design approach is reduced obviously. Simulation results are givento illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed techniques.Secondly, a novel open-closed-loop iterative learning control is designedfor networked control system. Set closed-loop part of ILC as local controllerand open-loop part of ILC as remote controller, and there are only the off-linedata through the network. So the advantages of iterative learning control areused to make up for shortcomings of networked control system. Finally, a real-time simulation system for NCS is developed by Socketand TCP/IP protocol. Through the application in real-time network, thesimulation system can fully reflect the network’s impact to the control system.
