Ghost imaging technique is advantageous in anti-disturbance imaging. We report ghost imaging experiment with a single pixel detector, spatial light modulator and LabVIEW software.A spatial light modulator, which plays a significant role in the work of this article, works thanks for the liquid crystal display capable of modulating the phase of incident light according to the needs of users. Firstly, the structure and phase modulation principle of the spatial light modulator are briefly described. The program with LabVIEW software of sending pictures to SLM’s screen is given.Secondly, the experiment is based on the data acquisition system for data acquisition and storage, which mainly consists of the photoelectric detector, the transit I/O port device SCB-68, PCI-6259data acquisition card, data acquisition software LabVIEW and computer.Furthermore, LabVIEW software is widely used throughout the whole work, not only in the experimental controls the spatial light modulator and configurates the data acquisition card, and in theory, makes the complex diffraction calculation and fussy correlation calculation greatly simplified and more clear, with powerful function libraries and sub VIs.On the basis of the above work, ghost imaging with spatial light modulator is theoretically calculated and experimentally demonstrated. And the spatial distribution of the resolution test target is reconstructed clearly. The SNR as a function of the realization number for the image has been presented, in agreement with the theoretical prediction.
