With the continuous development of the Internet industry, the information securityof network is increasingly important. As the terminal of the host and network’s dataexchange, more research is done about the network card in secure area besides sendingand receiving data on the network. The network encryption card is a very safe networkcard. This card integrates encryption chip and encrypts data through the chaos algorithm.In addition, the transport layer of the LAN protocol stack uses TCP and UDP to transferdata. Both of the two protocols have their own advantages and disadvantages.According to this, the dissertation discusses a new transport layer protocol. And put theprotocol into the video transmission system which is based on network encryption card.According to the characteristics of the network encryption card, by analyzing theadvantages and disadvantages of TCP, UDP and VPN, a new transport layer protocol-lightweight TCP protocol is designed. This protocol has a lot of characters, such as theconnection-oriented features of the TCP protocol, highspeed transmission characteristicsof the UDP. And more importantly, the thinking of the VPN is put forward intolightweight TCP protocol. Data is encryped and authenticated at the transport layer. Soas to complement the security of the network encryption card properties from theperspective of software. The network encryption card can transfer the video data fastly.We introduce the network encryption card’s structure from the hardware andsoftware, and then analyze the characteristics of UDP and TCP of transport layer. Wedesign a new transport layer protocol-lightweight TCP protocol.With emphasis onimplementation of lightweight TCP protocol. We design the structure of the protocol intwo ways. One is from the perspective of client and server, the other is from theperspective of encryption and non encryption. We put this protocol into networkencryption card. Through the experiments which proved that the protocol has goodtransmission effect and safety.
