With the rapid development of Internet technology, the data show explosive growth, at the same time growing data security issue has drawn increasing attention. Traditional encryption algorithms such as DES seem to be safe, but the encryption efficiency of the algorithms is low. Traditional encryption algorithm dealing with problems such as the large amount of data and the high demand for real-time requirements has become powerless. Modern encryption systems mainly face two problems, the first is the large amount of encrypted data, general encryption system can not meet the real-time processing of the data, especially data transmission on the Internet, such as high-definition video streaming; the second is that the security of the encryption system is not high, many encryption systems are belonged to pure software, they are easy to crack, therefore, their security can not be guaranteed.To solve the two major issues of encryption system, we designed a stream encryption system. The designed encryption system has good encryption efficiency by designing a high speed pseudo-random sequence generation algorithm. And by using the smart IC card technology, the security of the system is guaranteed. If the high speed pseudo-random sequence generation algorithm was implemented by hardware, it could complete a sequence generation within one computer clock cycle. By using the NIST and Diehard international standards randomness tests set, we prove that the generated sequence algorithm is available for encryption environment. Finally, we design a micro-encryption machine by combining the smart IC card with USB interface and placing the high speed sequence generation algorithm in the smart IC hard.We design a security high-definition video processing system with the micro-encryption machine, and the application’s testing result show that the micro-encryption machine can meet the high amount of data on the real-time requirements. And the high-definition video processing system can record and play the video stream within the fully encrypted environment.
